How to play Guess My Number
You each lock a secret four-digit code. Any digits work, including repeats and a leading zero, like 0427 or 1133.
Every round you both type a guess at the other’s code at the same time, within 30 seconds.
When both guesses are in, they are revealed together with a number: how many digits sit in exactly the right place. It never says which ones.
Four seconds to read the results, then the next round begins.
The first to guess the other’s code exactly wins. If you both crack it in the same round, it is a draw.
If nobody cracks it within 15 rounds, the player whose best guess had more digits in the right place wins.

Tips to win
Open with a guess like 0000, then 1111, 2222… Each tells you how many times that digit appears in the right places.
Change one digit at a time once you are close: if the count goes up or down, you know that position.
Pick a secret without obvious patterns, birthdays, years and 1234 are the first things a rival tries.
Use the voice chat to bluff. Your rival cannot see your secret, only the counts.
How a match works
Open the game on your device and press play.
Get matched with someone straight away, or send a friend your private room link and wait for them to join.
Both of you play at the same time; the server keeps the two screens in step. A match takes about 6 minutes.
Lost your connection? Come back within a minute and the match carries on where it stopped.

Can I play Guess My Number online with a friend?
Yes. Open Guess My Number, choose to play a friend and send them the private room link, they open it on their own phone or computer and the match starts when you are both ready. You can also invite a player by username, or take a quick match against whoever is waiting.
Is Guess My Number free, and do I need an account?
It is free, with no download and no account needed: press play and you join as a guest. Create an account later if you want to keep your match history and earn a rating on the leaderboard.
Does the game tell me which digits are right?
No, only how many digits are in exactly the right place. Working out which ones is the whole game.
Can my rival see my secret number?
No. Your secret stays on the server and is revealed to both of you only when the match ends.
What happens if I do not guess before the timer ends?
You skip that round and get no clue, while your rival keeps attacking. A player who never picks a secret gets a random one.
