How to play Paddle Duel
Each of you guards one side of the court with a paddle that moves up and down.
The ball is served after a short pause. Keep it from getting past your paddle.
Every return speeds the ball up a little, so long rallies get fast.
Where the ball meets your paddle sets its angle: near the ends sends it off steeply, the middle sends it back flatter.
When the ball gets past a paddle, the other player scores. First to seven points wins.
Controls
W / S or ↑ / ↓ to move
Touch and hold the upper or lower half of the court
Tips to win
Hit the ball with the edge of your paddle to send it at a sharp angle your rival has to chase.
Drift back towards the middle after each return, so no bounce leaves you too far to reach.
On a phone, hold the upper or lower half of the court instead of tapping: holding keeps the paddle moving.
