How to play Last Card
You are each dealt seven cards from a 108-card deck in four colours; one card starts the discard pile.
On your turn, play a card that matches the top card’s colour, number or symbol, or play a Wild and name the colour.
With two players, Skip and Reverse both mean you play again; Draw Two makes your rival draw two cards and miss their turn.
A Wild Draw Four makes your rival draw four and miss their turn, but it is only allowed when you hold no card of the colour in play. Your rival may challenge it: a caught bluffer draws the four instead, a wrong challenger draws six.
Cannot play? Draw one card. If it fits, you may play it straight away; otherwise the turn passes.
Call “Last card!” when you are down to one card. If your rival catches you before you call, you draw two.
Empty your hand first to win; you score the points left in your rival’s hand.

Tips to win
Keep your Wilds for when you are stuck, they are your way out of a colour you do not hold.
Change the colour to one your rival has just drawn on: they probably had none of it.
Call “Last card!” as you play your second-to-last card, so there is never a moment to catch you.
Watch your rival’s count too: when they are down to one card and forget to call, press catch.
How a match works
Open the game on your device and press play.
Get matched with someone straight away, or send a friend your private room link and wait for them to join.
You take turns; each move appears on the other screen as soon as the server accepts it. A match takes about 6 minutes.
Lost your connection? Come back within a minute and the match carries on where it stopped.

Questions
Can I play Last Card online with a friend?
Yes. Open Last Card, choose to play a friend and send them the private room link, they open it on their own phone or computer and the match starts when you are both ready. You can also invite a player by username, or take a quick match against whoever is waiting.
Is Last Card free, and do I need an account?
It is free, with no download and no account needed: press play and you join as a guest. Create an account later if you want to keep your match history and earn a rating on the leaderboard.
How does Reverse work with two players?
With only two players, reversing the direction brings the turn straight back to you, so Reverse works like Skip: you play again.
Can I stack Draw Two cards?
No. As in the official rules, a Draw Two makes your rival draw two and lose the turn; they cannot pass it back with another Draw Two.
How are points counted?
The winner scores the cards left in the loser’s hand: number cards at face value, Skip, Reverse and Draw Two 20 each, Wilds 50 each.
